If they have a 10m network cable they should be fine I think as the switch is located at the wall end of the adjacent table.   If their table is pushed up to the wall end too, then the distance should easily be manageable I would have thought?  (we have enough ports on the switches anyway)

If someone wants to bring one along sure, but I don't think we should buy one as it would not be used for another 5 years.  If one gets brought along it should be a dumb unmanaged switch to make sure we're not flooding the network with accidental config by-products!
