1Q2003 - Which maps have been kicked out?

mars, to put your fears at bay over wildwest assault.  Any CT campers that are simply sniping for frags IE a sniper remaining on the roofs when his team are dead will be kicked for not reading the pcs agreement on our website.

Dont dis the map just becasue your connections crap whne u get connectedto it its a good map and anyway its bloody hard being a t on that map as well as being ct its a good balanced map i like it if u dont dont play it

I really must say that i hate wild_west_assault alot.
Don't really know why... played it lots of times on N42 but this map really really sucks imho, and i really dislike rio... it IS the dust of PCS, overplayed. I really liked de_suntower cs_robbery, and de_celtic. Next time Mike will use his chance to vote also.

In fairness WW creates a much better match situation than assault.

Everyone knows assault now, and it's the same old tactics everytime because its so limited for Ts and Cts  :?

it sucks, u might as well shove a frickin sewers on office or create a vent network on siege, u shud play the default maps, creating every map even it jsut becoems boring, if u use all the dealfut maps tehn u get a egaul balance of byists maps and even maps

I'm relatively new to PCS but have played on lots of other servers and I find the diversity of maps, teams and the tactics to be a very refreshing change to deathmatch style CS. I find that even when you play the same map a number of times there are so many factors that change you have a different game each time. Even on maps which are T or CT biased the players + (Admins) normally have the sense to numerically load the lesser favoured team thus readjusting the balance. I personally can't see what the problem is with the rotation currently in use.

It is YOUR map rotation - YOU had the vote.  Your next opportunity to exercise your democratic right to not vote will come after dMw LAN III, in the form of 3Q2003, which will be held at the end of June/beginning of July.

If you have maps you want to be IN the rotation then please PM them to me.  3Q2003 will also give you the chance to vote your least favourite maps out.  

As I read this thread I never cease to be amazed at the ferocity of comments from people who never even bothered to partake in the map review and vote these 'mapii horriblis' out of the rotation  :lol:  Maybe the quote should have been:

You will never please all of the peeps all of the time, in particular those that didn't bother to vote. 8O
