I think this is the Demo  - maybe someone who speaks French better than me (speaks french at all ) could confirm (its 110 Mb d/l)

the top one is a demo of 2 new maps.
2nd one down is another new map demo.
the 3rd down
top 2 r maps or map demos of some sort but they r highly reccomended cant figure out what the bottom is, soz about vagueness but my french is a bit rusty.[ wasnt really ne good in the 1st place]

Aha.......call me Sherlock but by a process of deduction could you chaps lead me to a more clear link (ie in English) so i know exactly what i'm d/l.

[I dont have BBand and take 2 mins to d/l a 110meg file so dont matter if i've d/l a load of crap.]

the first link had a patch to fix frame rates i believe.

If it's the one Frenzy D/L'd (and it almost certainly is) then it's a leaked pre-Alpha that is more laggy, buggy and ugly than a real butt-ugly-buggy-laggy thing. So there.

so do you reckon this is a later version cuz it has the word alpha innit...Doh !

and they reckon they have this fix for low fps:-

I had the alpha leaked .. what ever they wanna call that demo that leaket out. Had no fps problem, but the AI was xtremely far from working, and had some minor gfx bugs. But overall gave a nice look of the game. I can tell it's gonna be a good scare witht hoose effects... and reqire one mega monster machine to play well

Though i'm not gonna get worked up about it untill the game is about to be released... look at duke nukem forever.. 2 years ago, and still not released. Q3 could easily wind up as one of thoose Myth games that never coem out

The only Doom III demo floating about is the one that ID showed everybody at E3, which has been leaked by ATI. You wont get any performance out of it whatsoever, because they configured it specifically to run on a next generation ATI card that isn't released until the summer!

Its a rather good game though, oh yes
