Benny there is no pause AFAIK.

I think Benny's idea of saying no mobile weapons is a good one. Also as dMw we should all lead by example and politely ask squad members not to use mobile weapons if they do.

Thats all we can do until a mod comes out that allows you to pick and choose which vehicles appear in the maps are which don't.

Duvel >BTW, you really didn't push us back. We got a call from our SL, move in to their base and hold ground, we had enough tickets allready to claim victory so that's why we did that.

Well you had only one base when you where defending the bridges, so I would say that that you where pushed back

I do like the themed nights we just need to be clear on what the rules are to avoid confusion and clarify those rules to our squad mates, ie non -dmwers..

my thinking behind still allowing jeeps on Infantry only games, is that they speed up the game. with out these flag capping would become very slow. unless we drop down to the 16 player maps. and the defensive value of most of the jeeps is low. But if you think different let me know and will try a different set of rules next time.

Personal highlights of last night would have to be delanvital saving ammo, by killing 5 of use with one round from his M203 :ph34r: and then we had blunt on a killing streak with his paddles

The way I understood the rules was this:

Light Jeep - DPV, Paratrooper Vehicle/FAV
Heavy Jeep - HMMWV, Nanjing (NJ) 2046, GAZ 39371 Vodnik
are all allowed...

not allowed are Tanks, aircraft, or vehicles with AT weapon(what I call an APC...probably mistakenly)

I don't see the problem with using the Vodnik or similar vehicles because they are armed to the same extent...or very nearly....as the jeeps.

It would be great if there was a jeep only Mod (I think BB looked into it a bit)
that would solve all the problems and misunderstandings we are having, and wouldn't require rules either

I was on the team defending the train wreck with "2xAPC" or if you look a bit harder the "GAZ 39371 Vodnik" better know as a jeep. it may look big. but has no more armour than the lowly Hummer. I fact there is only 1 apc on the whole map. and it spawns back at the US UCB. 2 hits from an M203 will take out any Jeep. and it only takes 1 for the light jeeps. and remember you don't need to blow the thing up to stop it shooting. 1 head shot soon spoils the Gunners day :dummy:

and you get the best chance at a headshot when the gunner turns to shoot at you

usmc rifle takes care of them

cracking sniping going on this evening - quite an effort to snipe blunt to stop him reviving the rest of the snipers you just shot

did get a good one though mid-run :devil:

Dont know what gremlins where in action tonight but listen to this tale.

Blunt is on my side (MEC),when I see him he shows up in red,so I shoot him.Blunt then says something in the order of "Norm please stop shooting me"

I was so sure his tag showed red,so I look at players list.He is in the opposite team to me according to the list. :blink: When he was shot by Hinny(USMC) it came up as a team kill. :blink: :blink: Please explain that one. :whistle:

Had some good games tonight. but I think we need jeeps. even with maps like karkand it is very hard to make a move on a flag which is further than a quick run away. In 2 rounds the suburbs never got caped once and the bigger maps seem to big.
