Ok iam going to install BF2 later today.
So shout up with any Hints/tips/settings/  maps/updates/mods etc i might need before i start?

Install BF2, instal patch 1.03, make sure you have the latest drivers on soundcard and videocard. When BF2 keeps crashing shut off background programs like DownLoadAccelerator and F@H or any of those. Also your firewall can cause problems.

Good 1, I still haven't done that 1 with the NO-CD.
Looks like with this kind of help you'll be playing it tonight!

I just realised we've discussed this before.

If you don't want to keep putting your BF2 CD in and out of your PC in case you scratch it you can find instructions here on how you can avoid having to have to do so.

You can also find how to avoid having to watch all the videos every time you start.

I stress that the link is for people with a legitimate copy of BF2 who just don't want to have their CD being used all the time :)
