Knowing how we all seem to like the urban maps ie Karkand, Karkand 2, Mashtuur, Ghost Town, etc...

I was wondering if that after xmas when the majority of BF2ers will have SF if we could have urban fight nights ie with the server exclusively rotating our favourite urban maps?

Just a thought....

Ranger

Top idea....And here's an additional one...

We could make it a campaign.

I'll draw up a map of a fictitious city - each of the maps you suggest could be suburbs of this city.

We fight each map and the 'team' (red team/blue team?) which occupies the most suburbs wins the campaign...

Er, do you get what I mean?

(We could do it over two weeks - 2 or 3 maps in an evening).

What do you think?

Kinda like this if you don't get what I mean (but less ambitious): 'Long way to Bagdad' campaign

That sounds like a great idea  :D

Would you suggest registering teams or just pick who ever turns up?

Ranger

Ahhh - I'd just keep it all informal and just use the titles 'Red Team' and 'Blue Team' to keep score and make it interesting.

Just let people drop in as they want - what with the team ballancing I don't suppose you can pick and choose anyway.

It's just a bit of fun.

EDIT: One thing is that I don't think we can mix and match vanilla and SF maps can we?

So I suppose we could have the vanilla maps - Karkand, Karkand 2 and Mashtuur - on week one, and then the SF urban DAYTIME maps!

You can only be on the A Team if you are big, black, have a moheekan and can say 'You crazy fool!'...

I suppose we could come up with suitably competitive names for the teams...

'Oldies Odd Balls', or whatever...! (Can't think of any other good names! LOL)

:)

You are right...

You shouldn't have (I can hear BIG-Paddy ironing his leopard skin underwear for the next LAN as we speak!)!

;)

LOL

Yes, ironing would just bake on the hard soiled gruft that currently resides in paddys thong! *I suddenly feel violently ill*
