Please tell us a bit about yourself.
Been playing CS/CZ fora 4-5yrs at least now, with dMw for 3+ yrs (2 as a Bravo member).
Spend a few nights playing CZ, in between shouting at my kids and doing DIY around the house/garden.
Like listening to different kinds of music, and have started reading novels again after 3-4yrs absence.
Fairly good pool player, and thinking of taking up curling.
Work as an SAP Basis Consultant.

In your own words, how would you explain TCS to an outsider?
The main point is that the gameplay is played more fairly, where teamwork is the most important thing. Cheats,wall hackers etc are not welcomed so if you die during gameplay you know its been done through skill and not a cheat. TCS also builds communities, being a lone gunman doesn't.


What type of player do you think is attracted to TCS?
Gamers wanting to avoid hackers/frag whores etc.
Someone who likes to play in a team.

In the previous question, which of those traits best describe you?
Team player who also likes a good banter.


Which do not best describe you?
Frag whore/cheat.

Why do you wish to become more involved in our community? Please state which aspects of the next Company appeal to you.
I've been a dMw member for 2yrs now, and would like to move on to the next level of membership.
I also want to get involved in Clan Matches as I feel my play style conforms to the TCS style.

How do you think you would add value to the dMw community if your application is accepted?
I'm an all-round decent guy whose fairly level-headed/open-minded and doesn't get involved in in-house squabbles.
My gameplay style shows I'm committed to TCS style gaming.

Have you ever been in a Clan before? If yes then which ones and why did you leave? None

Which other games do you play?
Trying to play BF2 and looking for old arcade games.

Another of god's finest from north of the border We are going to assimilate you so look out A mate of Whiteys and a good guy - works as an IT consultant. Been in dMw for 2 or 3 years now (its so long I can't remember) - another of those guys who it is a pleasure to find on a server - good TCS player and pretty regular on the forums

Possibly slightly quiet but that's no bad thing - there's enough of us blethering here to more than make up for that. A good solid player who adopted the TCS way and has never looked back - I'm surprised he hasn't applied before now.

Loud, aggressive, annoying, petulant, pregnant, pensioner

he is the sort of player who camly plays his way through a game, never gets upset (that I have seen) and sets a damn good example for everyone to follow.

Not that I am aware of.

My criteria for selecting somebody is simple - do i want to play CS or BF2 with this person on our server. The answer is YES

I have known Thulsa_Doom personally for the last 18 years after I started working with him in the IT department at the ICI plant in Dumfries.  As we were in the same agegroup and had similar interests, we became friends outside of work.  Some of the interests we have shared outside of IT geekness include badminton, ten pin bowling, squash and an attempt at curling as well as lots of Drunken night out in Dumfries in our younger years (and a few in the more recent years as well).

I have been playing counter strike with Thulsa since version 1.3, I was getting sick of all the frag monkeys on the public servers and found a post on the CS newsgroup about PCS and after a couple of night got Thulsa on as well.  We registered on the forum to get the password and read the rules etc but never returned until our accounts got delete during a server move or something in December 03 and that's when we re-registered and started to actively participate on the forum as well as the servers.  Sorry for the history but it's just to give you an idea of how keen Thulsa is on Tactical/fair play and the length of time he has been playing that way.

In my view Thulsa is already (and has been for a while) an active member of the community and the only change I see with him being promoted to Charlie company is that he will be available for matches.

Because he's been here for years, plays the way a member of dMw should and is a nice guy  (but don't tell him I said that!)  It would also be good to get a chance to play in matches with him.

I have known Thulsa_Doom (only online) for about 1-2 years, saying that we have always got on well and hes a decent, sound sort of guy (for a scotsman).

I have been playing counter strike with Thulsa since version 1.6, It occured to me he wasnt a frag hunter and he wasnt a bad player obviously been playing cs from the start or near to it.An un-offensive sort who speaks his mind when needed...i know a rarety in a scotsman...

I support TD's application because .. 1.hes a nice guy 2. hes a good team player and tactically a genious(made that bit up) but he does like to play a good tactical game. 3 hes like a part of the furniture. 4.A future match player for us , i have no boubt.
