Can't say I'm overly keen on the infantry only idea, I like driving or flying around to much & don't really enjoy the foot soldiering side of bf2, stick me in a gunner seat on a chopper & I'll be happy as a pig in, erm, a happy place, all night long.

We also struggled once Oldie left on Mashtuur with *anks in tanks.

I think admin rights needs to be given out to a few more people if possible so we can resolve this.

I would suggest that those people who are most often on  the server - I don't know who they are as I only play a couple of times a week but there are quite a few on every night I guess?

It was only a couple of peeps...and they stopped after a while (1 immediately, apologising after it was explained )

I think the problem is the warning text isn't shouty enough...plus we have non english speakers (yanks )

it'd be nice if the admin could spam the screen with a big "NO TANKS!" right accross the screen instead of some piddly little text way up left.

Karkand was a blast

Just out of curiosity, is 4 wheel only a server setting you can make to only have jeeps spawn, or is it just a concious decision among the players to not jump into any other vehicles?

All the other vehicles would appear to be available ingame to use, you just get shouted at when you get in one.

Well that was probably the most intense game of BF2 I've ever played!  

Congrats to the opposition for winning the game, some incredible fire fights and close quarter battles.

I felt sorry for Ron when he said he couldnt' take any more and left (I sympathise with you mate it was kinda mad - 500 tickets!!). Then our SL Lib(?) said he'd had enough (unsurprisingly after commanding us for over 90 minutes!) - what a war of attrition  

Nice to see a new dMw face on the server - welcome Niel    what a baptism of fire that was for you!

Looking forward to Monday nights usual big game too, Karkand 2 anyone?  :dribble:
