Ranger said "He will no doubt join us on the hook at some point, however he felt he needed to join other clans/communities to take part in competitive play and to enjoy a more structured, focussed and organised BF2 environment, ie where he can play internal and external scrimmages, leagues and ladders, have regular training aetc. Also he enjoys playing in games with large numbers."

I will miss him on these forums and the hook  :(

Wish him well then Dewey. I'm sure we will get round to BF2 league matches but I think we are "early doors" just now.

Well they do have an incredable amount of active clan members AND they run their clan as if it was an actual army, i'd be supprised iff they didn't win tbh...

Dewey

TG play regular scrims, comps and train, they are also well organised - as we know from the last time they played us, they are difficult to beat. Tactically and strategically they have much more experience, though I'm sure individually we are much better players than the last time we played them.

sulky_uk

what about a game anyone fancy offering them? if we get as many players as we did for jingle bombs then we could do well

I think we need to look at what we want here. Do we want to be the most l33t clan around or do we want to be a community of like minded people who look after each other and are here to enjoy our gaming.

I feel that we are very much infants at the BF2 game as opposed to CS which we have been playing for years. Our knowledge is growing and our skills are growing and I'm sure we will enter some BF2 League at some point in the future. I believe that there is a fine line between starting too early and just being a whipping boy (down Benny) or giving it a bit of time and playing competitively albeit losing a lot initially but learning as we go. It's hard to call but I guess that a few months more would see us ready to start thinking about competitive matches. At present we are enjoying our games but we aren't seeing enough regular gaming to consider a match IMHO.

2p from me ;)

no worries blueball i enjoy non ranked, non clan, non competitive  games a lot more,  i agree that as a clan we need to work together and improve on cs(not too much)  and bf2( a good wee bit) and wow(ask the wowies...... ) ,etc, but a fun game against them would be........fun

maybe im just being sentimental about ranger, im going to check my tg account now to see if he's replied to my email
