i have just installed my lovely new geforce 6800GS card ......i have  up to date drivers but i cant get 100 fps in cz to run smooth...
vert sync off 100 fps max in console..it was fine with my 9800 ati....what gives?.... :unsure:
it runs choppy and like your driving on a cattle grid...very jerky.....

Check what the default settings are on the graphic card, It might have settings that conflict with the game. If I remember correctly I created an nvidia profile especially for CS so everything ran smoothly.

Oh and check if you are running in OpenGL or DirectX

Could it be to do with the fact your 'ill today and cant come into work' ??

Maybe it's youe eyes that are 'ill' and the game is running perfectly fine, or maybe your hands are the problem and shaking badly, causing the screen to look jerky.   :P

i know its not a help but thats the card im getting when me misses lets me, so can u keep updating with how you get on please

One thing with the nvidia drivers & xp is the refresh rates are locked at 60 if I remember right, look around for forceware coolbits (from guru3d most probably) & it unlocks it in the options so you can set the rates up in your desired cz rez.

This may help, or may not, either way, mooo.
