but more importantly, what does recursion mean?

Doorman

You'll always be Neutron to me.

smilodon

Many thanks oh great and wise one.

Recursion hmmmmmmmm??

Ok, you're inside a huge maze. You can use recursion to get out.

[begin]
are you out of the maze?
if yes then end
if no then move foreward and turn left
repeat.
[end]

That's recursion

Name changing.....sic faciunt omnes :(  ....and just when I was getting used to Neutron having a banana in his ear   I suppose without the banana we could always fac tu cocleario vomere!

Never mind, I am going to ventis secundis, tene cursum and seek out something else to amuse me now.

Recedite, plebes! Gero rem imperialem!  :D   And if you don't stand aside, you can vescere bracis meis!  :P

i think i speak for everyone when i say, what ?

TeaLeaf

It was Latin.  Neutron/Smiladon's signature included the latin phrase "I can't hear you.  I have a banana in my ear".

My reply included:

sic faciunt omnes - everyone is doing it

fac tu cocleario vomere! - gag him with a spoon

ventis secundis tene cursum - go with the flow

Recedite, plebes! Gero rem imperialem! - Stand aside plebians, I am on imperial business

vescere bracis meis!  - Eat my shorts

Tufty

right...

how do you know all this latin?

all i can remember of my german from school is ich habe ein groBe kaninchen. and there really isnt much use to say that in everyday conversation

TeaLeaf

I actually did Latin at school, but as I am sure you will guess, conjugating verbs: voco, vocas, vacat, vocamus, vocatis, vocant, does not easily lead to the coloquial Latin for 'eat my shorts'.

His original signature was 'Te audire no possum. Musa sapientum fixa est in aure.'  Try copying it and putting it into google.  You'll come up with some nice latin phrases and all of the ones that I quoted above (except for one that I amended to change the tense from first person to second personal singular).

Go ahead, fac ut gaudeam.
