Hi guys.
As usual, I'd like to use a computer and so at the LAN.
Is there anyone willing to borrow me a computer?
Hopefully this time one which playes BF2 aswell. Last time I couldn't do much because my twinbrother used my BF2copy and so.  :(

What will there be in a return: Beer!
Also probably something else but not sure what that'll be...
Maybe a Dutch drink...

I will use Ron's spare PC and monitor. The rest I will bring myself.

I will carry as many beers I can get away with on the plane for thirsty dMw's, either the Carlsberg Christmas or Easter special, which I doubt is available in the UK? Or what? If it is I will find something more exotic.

BTW, the English have loads of booze in their stores, last time we find out that they even have Berentzen Apfelkorn in a big store there.

If my new card ever comes i will hopefully have 2 rigs to bring (if i havent already sold the one) I will let you know if i get the chance.

Only problem is i havent got a spare (legal) version of XP to stick on there at the moment. So It might be a blank system.

Then I will check the local speciality-beer-shop here and see what I can dig up.

You dutch have your fancy cafes and squares to meet and sit and chat and have 'discussions' in.

We just got beer but lots of it.

If anyone can spare a monitor (say, a 30" apple TFT for instance) I'd much appreciate it, although it wouldn't be totally impossible to bring me own TFT.

I plan on buying a Shuttle XPC sometime soon and bring that with me so borrowing a PC shouldn't be necessary.

The biggest problem is the DFP - no matter how you twist and turn it the damn thing is just to weirdly shaped to fit in a backpack or similar... And I'm not going to check in my PC stuff :)

Ok i have one 2.0ghz p4 pc, dell with monitor etc and all equipment if needed. If i do bring this i would want it to be my storage rig with an attached usb hdd which can be removed when the user wants to play. It has a full separate steam account with all steam games including cs:s and dod:s. Bf2 unfortunately can't run on it i'm afraid but u can still use it all for all steam games. I think ninja brings a spare rig for too but am not sure if he wants to share it :).

I also have a laptop dell inspiron 1200 celeron m 1.3ghz which can play normal hl games but can't play any source engine games and will not play bf2. However it has the same account for steam as my desktop so there may be conflicts with two accounts running on the same network as we may have the internet.

If someone does borrow either of these please be gentle :)

So far a nice offer from GMJR but I'm hoping for a rig which can also play BF2 as I think this will be one of the most played games again.
Last LAN when someone wasn't on his comp I'd be sitting behind it playing BF2.
