I am a defender and therefore Im in RG2... Im currently arms/fury specced, but if Im needed as a tank I will respec and try to get more and better tanking gear..
I am also a wannabe guardian so I will be online up to 5 evenings a week (Tuesday and Friday being the two evenings i prolly won't be on much), unless im very busy, to help you noobs in RG1 if needed  :dribble:

About the alt thingy.. As said before, if there are to many ppl in RG1, the ones left over will be transferred to RG2 (I hope this won't mean that some RG2 ppl might risk not getting into the raid because of RG1 leftovers??).. So that shouldn't be a problem.. Maybe if a certain class is needed a person could change to an alt of that class, but the alt wouldn't have prioties on loot and such unless noone needs it.. Because we wouldn't want the alt to be all  :whistle: untill a epic drops and then  :ph34r:  and it is gone, leaving some ppl like    or  :ranting: while the alt goes like  :narnar: and :roflmao: ..  :eyebrow:  (the last one was just because I like it)


Now:

The masterlooter could also assess the need before handing out the items and not use DKP blindly. Problem is that this will probably lead to many heated discussions during the raid as need is a very subjective term.

Another point with regards to DKP, say I went to MC with RG1 one week and got 90 dkp saved. Then for some reason I went with RG2 to MC, and something I wanted dropped, I couldnt use this 90 dkp to purchase that item. So for each RG there is a seperate DKP System. That would probs be better.

Well Im sure you'd just save your DKP to when the item drops with RG1 where ppl already have it

Now Officers.. You got any idea what so ever on how long the process of making the RG2 will take? I mean.. It'll take some time to recruit the proper ppl.. Will the defenders still be able to join the current raids, as the RG2 doesn't excist yet.. cos to quote a former Defender : i'm going nuts not raiding

I dont think our regular raiders should be diving into RG2 raids Neff, as it will prevent em raiding with RG1. RG2 will be like, people who havent/cant raid alot and new people to raiding, im guessing mainly new raiders.

We have something in the pipeline.  Give us some time please - we may have something organised by next week but we may need longer - we posted to say we would move towards these goals and we will do this at our best available speed.  Just bear with us and keep the faith, the Officers are working hard to get this done ASAP.

Nah I can raid and aint that new to raiding and yeah all the guardians will be fighting to join the wonderful and marvellous RG2

Im not saying that , oh and sorry for your nr.1 forumwhore disapearing, but what i meant was, i will reaid when possible, without it having a negative effect from RG1. I will also do all the work i can do for RG2, without raiding with you .

Very easy explained: I will do work for RG2, but i wont comit myselv to raid with them.

Im so fired up on a RG2:D Then we wouldnt have anymore ppl leaving because of not being able to raid . I will put alot of effort into it just to not have anymore guildies leaving, Addy leaving is something that came as a gun backfiring to me , he talked about doing it but i never suspected him leaving without leaving a thread about the pro's and cons about SOg atm

So say this RG2 really takes off, all the defenders get to raid
i see one problem, we dont really have any spare paladins
so we should have to reqruit a new set of paladins for RG2 basicly leaving them with "noob" pallies, for all the other classes, at least as far as i can see we have one or two players who raided b4 and know what to do where to do what and what NOT to do

so i think it would be good for the progress to have have at least one or two "battle hardned" players per class in the second raid group

see if we can get a few people to volonteer or cycle one of the better players per  class to have some sort of "rollmodel" in group 2

speaking for myself i learned more from looking at other pallies then from reading up on tactics

I wouldnt mind helping in RG2 sometimes, but what im saying is that by having a second raid group, we cant be having some of our best people locked into another instance when we most need them, but as we are getting better at clearing MC, that shouldnt be a problem, as RG2 will not be getting to BWL immediately.

First thing : Lets not recruit more members yet, assign one or more persons to talk with other "lesser" guilds and we can make an alliance between guilds, and maybe getting a "whole guild" over when its decided what happens.
