Played the game, and i must say i aint too impressed, the first zone isnt half bad, appart from that dreaded tunnel under the tracks, allthough the large hound packs and the start of the second zone (Garbage) are quite annoying, so many enemys, and so well armed, and then to buy anything you have to go all the way back too the first town. Dunno, dont seam like a very good game so far tbh.

theres another way, go NE when you spot the bridge(were the military is, theres a hole in the fencing or bribe the guys 500ru(only when thay aint shooting, youlle get your money back by looting the dead stalkers )

Well, no problem for me as I could run all the way back, drop guns, receive money and such.
Ahwell, just make sure you don't have to much weight and such.
Look up the previous tips and such that are posted.
There are quit a few enemies and they might have guns and such but remember to pick up the better guns and such when you can.

Well, although I can't play the game, a friend who has it seems to be enjoying it thoroughly... he gave it an 85% ^^.

fileplanet just released a beta game client for stalker. I am not too sure if its a full singleplayer and multiplayer but its for helping with patch development.

Bah. Tried to take my copy back to the store, but they don't have a trade-in price for it yet. I want to sell it on secondhand, dammit! It's the special edition too. Just not as polished as I wanted. My means of judging games have become more exacting.

Previously I would get several games at once, and if one was not too polished I would take the opinion that I would have finished the others and looking for something else to play soon enough, and would be glad of it then. With the massive amount there is to explore and work towards in WoW you don't have the issue of expecting to 'complete' it any time soon, so if I buy and/or try a game I ask myself 'Would I rather be playing this than playing WoW?'. If the answer is no, then back to the shop for a secondhand tradein price it goes!

 Haha... When I had WoW, it was more like; 'Would I rather install and play my new game than WoW?' And the answer was normally yes >.<.

First make an account on fileplanet. Doesn't have to be a paid subscription one and then open that link then you should be able to get a key and the client.
