BF2 Patch 1.22

just seen on my EA downloader that BF2 Patch 1.22 is on it's way...

should be ready about 17.30 hrs... probably too late to get it on the server tonight, so if you do get it, check the server has it running before you install

there's a full version and an incremental one

ther's mention here of the PRMM patch, but I can't find it on the PR webby

I tell you what though ... I gave VALVe my fair share of knocks over the years but at least they released their server files as incremental updates and at the same time as the client updates were released.

Got completely hacked off with trying to update the game. It kept telling me I needed 1.12 or somesuch. There are so many updates in my Patches folder I gave up in disgust, downloaded the full Monty all 373mbs! Anyway after a complete reinstall it patched fine to 1.22. One teensy weensy thing. I've lost the ability to crouch! I tried to take a d*mp in a back alley in Karkand and had to do it standing up! Tried reassigning various buttons but it ain't 'avin' any. :angry:
