it has all really upset me that the alot of people that i thought were my friends within the bod comunity hate me because of some stupid scan. Yes there was a hack folder on my pc it was an empty folder called aimbot.zip which smiler had to write a program to find as it was not found on the window search, we are still trying to find out where it came from we think it may have been downloaded within another file that i had downloaded and unzipped but we cannot see any files that were downloaded or unzipped at the same time, so far i have spent about 11 hours finding the file and trying to find out where it came from but we still dont know.

As typed before, I haven't suspected you of cheating what so ever on BoD. Now there's a few players on their servers who I do suspect as sometimes they just rush up and get people standing on various postions, headshooting both but that's something else.

I hope you didn't get any problems in NT* about it though.
I didn't see anything there but I reckon I'm just not able to see that post.

I hope you get it sorted on BoD.

Edit: Blunt, I've seen him play and also several others of -=[dMw]=-. Nothing suspicious at all if you ask me.

I have seen some very dodgy things on the BOD server, IE ppl apearing next to my spaw before I have left it!!!!

Just to add a bystander's opinion, I have a strong feeling that Rambo isn't a cheat. After all if DuVeL stands by him, that says enough. However.....BoD seem to be entrenched in their view and won't concede that it could be crap software. Rather a silly stance imo.
Are there any other opinions on the internet concerning the cheat detector?

That's an admin suddenly swapping players to another side. I've had that several times myself on the BoDserver. Ended up in me shooting teamm8s. Rambo asked them lateron who swapped them and he never got a reply to that.

leave the cheat-finding to the known programmes like VAC and that thing in BF2. They may not be perfect, but it's a lot worse to get false positives and hassle legitimate players for no good reason just because of a dodgy scan.

In a similar vein why on earth would you allow an unverified program from a (potentially) untrusted source to scan files on your pc and report (something) back to someone somewhere. Sounds a little too close to phishing scam if you ask me ... just make sure it's not opening text files with the word "bank" or "acc" in the filename!

My concern was the sureity that BoD has with this. Surely they've been playing with computers long enough to realise that almost all software gives trouble (Except Windows© of course!)

Another thought just occured to me. It was the attitude of the other members, quite obviously 'straight', who were sh*tting themselves in case the scan got them. The relief when they deemed to be clean

I mean if rambo hacked(what im sure of he doesnt/didnt) then it would be the same thing as N3co he would be spotted already
