Theres a cheat scan going over at bod. I think it would be a good idea if everyone visited the site and was scanned in mirc to show dmw's commitment to being against cheats.

Theres a file on his computer which he doesn't know how to find. I was clean but i am still not sure why he showed up as positive. He has since got a perm ban

Could be. But I must say that Rambo never looked suspicies to me and didn't have the record scores or so. Weird though. :blink:

Shame for Rambo he seems like a decent guy and he is adamant he doesnt know what he has been accused of using, infact he was instrumental in catching out NT n3co, but the scanner found something,, it seems it can find traces of a hack even after its been deleted unless you re format hd so hes maybe been caught out on something he did a while ago.

If the scanners anything like the type I've seen used before its a load off crap, all they do is scan file names & compare them against known hacks - they pick up all sorts of programs & files just because the name contains something similar to that of a cheat.

I'm not saying whos guilty or not, just I don't feel personally that these scanner programs can be fully trusted.

I would imagine it'd pick those up too if they were named right, I remember one guy getting flaged by the program as having mygot hacks & it turned out it was a demo of one of em on a server.

Personally I don't think anyone should be branded as a cheat purely on some unknown programs say so & if BoD are doing such without clear demos to back it up then thats very wrong imho.
