Well?  What do you think?

Tell us what you liked, disliked, best map bits, did they play OK on your spec PC? etc.  Go on, spill the beans  :D

Apologies, there is a corrupt file on the server for this map that causes the server to restart - the file will be replaced and fixed very shortly.  In the meantime please be aware that your call is important to us and an operator will be with you very shortly.  In the mean time please continue to hold..........

I'm sorry, but all of our operators are still busy.  Your call is important to us and one of our operators will be with you as soon as they have finished abusing a prior caller.  Press "1" if you misunderstood the previous message, or press "2" if you wish to post again

And where would you like it inserting?      8O
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Keep comparing this to Tundra which was a great escape map with real PCS potential. Hunted is not as good, and the one way waterfall is stupid. Don't like it  :(

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Played this from both sides and was great fun, but we only had small teams each time. I think the max was 4 a side. With these numbers this map works really well. The only drawback that I can see with it is that there are only 2 ways into the house for the cts and both are easily covered by the ts, with larger numbers playing these could easily become bottlenecks with the cts unable to get past these points. Other than that another good map.

Which one is this? If it's the VIP jobbie, nah! If it's the hossie jobbie, hard to say yet. Needs time to mature, although it's an interesting little map with potential. One to lay down perhaps.

Those choke points are a fair point. The mincer on dust is always fun to play but there are other routes through on that map that make it more varied. I agree that this one might suffer from a lack of tactical variation, with just the two routes through. Time will tell.

The other dust route being the tunnel.  That makes 2 routes.  :?

I think you'll find that the ability for the Ts to defend the gong route are hampered by the CTs ability to attack them from the other route (i.e. side/behind).  The trick on this map is to cover both routes and then the Ts start to back off.  I have played this one a fair amount in the past and I would rate it as a good map for up to 8 v 8, so it should be OK.

I meant that there is more variety with the two routes on dust than the two on rising_sun.

On dust it's through the mincer and fast left to site B
Through the mincer right and left through the doors to B
Through the mincer and right to the balcony
Through the mincer and right then straight to CT spawn
etc etc.
The timing here was crucial as T's and CT's would meet either in the mincer or the bomb site B. lots of variation on a small map.

On rising_sun the CT's can get to the choke points long before the T's and be ready for them when they arrive.

It's still early days though

Two routes for the CT's to go, can easily be stopped. even if they draw into the house there are still only 2 routes to the escape..not the best IMHO.
