Haha - I ordered it from them about 40 mins ago, glad it was the same guys, would have been annoying if you'd found an even cheaper one! Apparantly they are mostly quick too so may even have it arrive tomorrow if I'm lucky :yahoo:

Terrific. You realise that you've taken the first step to a wasted life.

You'll love it! Just shout for tips on setting it up.

Well, it's arrived and that shop will be getting a pretty good review from me! Everything works and have installed the Wingman Drivers off thier site but unfortunately I can't seem to get the pedals to show up on the Logitech Profiler - they definately work but can't get them to respond in the Profiler program - if that makes sense?!

BigFatCat

I didn't use the profiler stuff, just went with the normal drivers. Windows Control panel showed them as AOK.

Now, get ready to get ALL crossed up with all that ability to play a game of "Is my steering wheel centred on the grid"
Will strip for badges

Lol - Panic over now it seems, checked the LFS forum and found a solution so all ready to spin off at that first corner when I confuse myself later tonight with this new gear (though spinning the mini is probably harder than getting it around). Time to get in some practice I think.

Oops wrong info. Sorry/

Doorman.. Where did I put those setups again? I need to fix the shifter..

Doorman

Speaking of shifters THIS is a seriously good piece of kit. Favourably priced against the Frex offering.

Viewsonic VX1940W on its way. I wanted 1680x1050 resolution but small enough screen so that I could use a fresnel lens with it, that I bought some time ago.

Iron

Nice. Post some pictures when you set it up. :)

Going back to the first post. I notice the G25 is now listed on Logitech's site as a Playstation 3 accessory. Does anyone know if it works with the 360 as well? Currently I don't have any system other than a PC, and i've never bothered with a good wheel and pedals because I don't play many racing games on PC (or at all, *currently*... I just can't get the hang of using a joypad). I'd be able to justify to myself getting a good wheel and pedals and a copy of LFS in a few months if I could also use it when I get a 360 to play the more arcadey type racers. Logitech's site only mentions the PS2, PS3 and PC, and interesting doesn't mention support in LFS, though it does mention other PC games that support it...

Also, same question for the Driving Force Pro (i.e. would it work with a 360 as well as the PS2 and PC), and is there any real point in me getting a G25 as opposed to a Driving Force Pro? I'm considering slipping one of these two into my upgrade come Feb-ish, but i'm loath to spend £145 vs £60 on a wheel if I then find i'm not that into LFS and it's not going to work for pretty much any other racing game i'd want to buy on the system i'm likely to get it for. I also don't want to try LFS with just the keyboard in case it colours my view of it as being too hard or whatever. Catch 22 and all that.

Mal: Define interesting...

Is a 360 (whatever that is) a Sony product? If so I'd be surprised if it didn't work with it. The G25 works with a PC, so if the 360 has usb connections it should be OK. Too good a bit of kit to be used on Need for Speed though. :norty:

Doorman: Xbox 360.

Carr0t: Unfortunately I don't know. But: "I also don't want to try LFS with just the keyboard in case it colours my view of it as being too hard or whatever." Maybe you could try it with mouse control, I did, and I was totally hooked, so I bought a wheel, and a license. That was a year ago. Oh my god, so long ago? *screen fades into flashback*

Carr0t

Aye, XBox 360. You'd think, what with the 360 being a Microsoft product, it'd work, but i'm not sure.

Mouse control. Hmm, I might give it a go. Didn't realise it could work like that.

THIS may be worth taking a closer look at. Price is right. I'll see if I can find out any more about it.
