Hello, My name is Umbra and I'm an alcoholic...

My first venture out of the SoG section, thought I'd say hi, I'm an avid gamer, s/w developer and I build computers, and I'm happy to try and help in any of these areas :D

Feel free to add my msn to any list, XFire is already in the related section
maybe I will start sucking at BF2 soon, as well as WoW *sniff*:blush2:

However, there are always strange implications from Bastet and Bob(Threb). Now see what you've gone and done, I was trying to keep clean in these forums too :'(

btw, what is CZ?
w.r.t. other games listed, I've never got into Counterstrike, too realistic for me, my grip on reality is tenuous and I like it :), may be interested in racing games though ;).

My experience with BF2 is limited to about 10 games so far with some mates and since playing about a year and a half as a warrior in WoW i Tend to run in attackign everything and hoping someone else can keep me alive, it doesn't always work. however I seem to be quite good in helicopters and tanks, jets need me to set up my stick correctly tho ;)

He allready said he wasn't interested in that kind of games so I didn't reply to that.
 
For racegames check Doormans LFS and GT Legends forumpart.

I will rephrase my disdainful comments. It's not so much that I'm not interested as that it hasn't grabbed my attention as yet. I'm always up for something new, and if it's good I'll give it a go. c'mon, MAKE me want to :D

something really petty and minor is that on the original CS, the arm graphic (your arm that holds the guns) had a total of 2 surfaces, so it looked like a pink stick rather than an arm, and as a programmer (yes I do some OGL and D3D) it wound me up a little :$

another thing though, I'm 1/4 american, and as such in relatively realistic FPS I somehow tend to kill everything (enemies/teammates/trees/squirrels/toasters) :(
in MOHAA and COD my team tend to put me at the front to avoid getting annihilated, unfortunately i'm quite accurate too.

P.S. Bob, I'm the one that's the same in both pics, also, male *checks again* yep

Is it only me, or does anybody else also get a bit confused by that second picture :whistle:
