LAN X - Positions Available

We are now starting the organisation for LAN X and are looking for volunteers to fill the following posts:

LAN Network Admin - who can turn up on Friday morning and who will be responsible for making sure the switches are there, connected and configured properly for max speed and the cables all working.

 LAN Server Admin - who will be responsible for setting up and configuring the servers before the LAN and then for running the required games at the appropriate times.

 LAN Secretary - the one responsible for all of those nice things, like a piece of card on your desk with your name, IP and gateway; making sure things run smoothly. Collecting the money :norty:

LAN Photographers - Responsible for taking photographs and for getting them up onto the website afterwards

LAN Security - responsible for the room keys on those late overnight gaming sessions

LAN Competition & Gaming Committee - to set the agenda for the weekend and decide which games anc competitions are to be played.

LAN Merchandiser - To organise LAN Momentos and other promotional goodies

 LAN MC - the person who will be the vocal host for the long weekend.

 LAN DOORMAN - responsible for the consumption of epic quantities of wine and arguing over the quality of the 'a la carte' menu. Also usually provides free 'at the table' entertainment on Friday night. Most often found in a comfy chair with drink in hand. Least often found sober.
 
Doorman / TeaLeaf  - Double Act (Oh God.... could be carnage).

GENERAL GOPHERS - will probably have the pleasure of rebuilding Sheepy's machine :narnar:

Will help drinking beer when asked for. And offcourse I'll make pictures and so again (all pictures made during the LAN are the actors own fault, compremising or not).

Just for the record, I don't drink, (to excess) complain (unless there is something to complain about) and I'm not entertaining (unless I'm drunk or complaining vociferiously)
