I've been asked by a couple of people (who have heard MAD_ness' version of events) to explain the sequence of events from the dMw admins view.

Can we use this area to construct the information and then post it up to the OBN?

To get the ball rolling, here's the PMs received from VV and MAD.

Sorry Terry, but,after the present ed cup run that we are currently in I WILL
be standing down as head admin for CS ...this will obviously mean that a new
CL will be required for both SGL and ed .... this is not just down to the
perpetual struggle I have had for the past year getting a team together for
matches but also due to the fact that the original people who I started
playing CS with all those years ago have all but vanished ... although I
believe that the present squad have done dMW proud in what they have achieved
(and, who,in my mind have received none of the recognition for their
achievements,esp. in the edcup) but, I have seen the numbers dwindle
constantly to the present level...and I have had enough of chasing folks
around servers to get a team up.. seems strange to be saying this as the last
4 years have flown by,but for me to carry on with cs.cz in official matches I have to try pastures
anew ...and this will also mean leaving dMw at the same time, don't know where
it will take me..but I gotta try ..cz is dead in dMw now ... we tried with all
our hearts to keep the flag flying but it just aint there ... hope the guys
understand my decision .. and I hope that they realise I gave it my best shot
... I hope to remain in some form or another part of dMw even if its just in
the forums ...
Thanks for the opportunity gave to me by making me part of dMw (esp. as head CS admin) and all the advantages I have enjoyed wearing the tag.

lo OB erm I have decided to leave dMw...there's no problem I just feel I have no time for matches and playin for that matter , I dont post much either,,I have a growing family who as u can imagine require my attention....I have deleted myself from ED..so if theres nothin else for me to do,I will say thanks for the last few years of your help and advice and giving me admin status, and all that implies. I wont disapear from sight u will be sorry to here, but I just dont think it would be right to were the tags any more....

Here is my precis of events:

Doris "Admin chatted" me on server to say he was going to leave dMw
The thread of responses is attached to this. basically I tried quite hard to talk him into doing what he wanted to do but doing it here. He did say that couple of others would prob go. He didn't mention names so at this point all I know is that Doris and Hippy are going to start a clan.

At the point that I asked Doris to let Mad_ness know out of courtesy Mad_ness posted that he was leaving but "didn't know where he was going".

A couple of days later someone posted the URL to their new site in the "Doris and Hippy are leaving" thread. I visited the forums and was appalled at what I read. VV was the worst - I couldn't believe the diatribe emanating from his posts. That was followed by Mad_ness, Doris and Hippy (in order).

Madnesses response did intimate that it was a bit hard on BT and to be honest I tend to agree but after a year of trying to get into a clan you'd think he would hang around! Anyway, BT was the only one in their forums that showed any remorse for their actions so I wouldn't have an issue if he was reinstated to Bravo.

Dunno if that lot makes sense or not but its the best my brain can sort out at the mo (time gets sort of fuddled up :sad:)

Main offensive thread here.  Don;t know what happened to my copis of the rest of the site - I seem to have multiple copies of that thread, whereas I went through the forum and took copies of every thread there - and I'm buggered if I can find them - they should all be in teh same place but are not :blink:

Wouldn't it be a clever and adult thing to forget this unpleasantness? It whole episode leaves a bad taste in my mouth and raking it over doesn't change anything.

We need to collate our info incase one of the people we busted down to Alpha decides to appeal. We also need to explain to people who have known us all for years why we did what we did - they've already had a very different story to the one we will tell.
