Maus

It's out, but it's 1.3ish Gb and I can't be bothered downloading it. Anybody tried it? The game looks interesting enough.

Downloading trailer. It looks really nice!

It is called a RTS game - wonder how that plays out. And anything can be destroyed to reshape the battlefield.

Just watched the demo. I am not much into RTS type gaming, but it looks really fun and action-packed! Graphics looks, as far as I can see on the demo, really good.

but like you Maus, 1.3GB is too much to be bothered...

Demo's been pulled, new one out shortly apparently.

Does look good and is getting very good (p)reviews.

I mostly want to know how my current computer can handle it, but right now I'm looking for a new job and have promised myself a fancy 'puter as a reward when I get one, so hopefully I won't have to wait too long to play it :D

Played the demo for a while today (well, just the tutorial really) and it looks really nice.

I watched the trailer and it looked good. (apart from soldiers standing still while they were lambasted!) RTS? Is that a 'point and squirt' thing or what? I am in need of a diversion. LFS is great, but the concentration levels are intense. CS:S is good, but for perhaps an hour. Bf2 is great but for an hour also. I looked at the Messiah demo, What to do , what to do? Is it my imagination or are games a bit thin on the ground?

I've looked at the various movies and pondered and cogitated, sat on the loo and thought (chin on fist) some more. In the end I thought 'sod it!' and bought it. £17.99 from Play.com. Bloody PC 'stamping down on prices, hah!' World wanted £39.99! This IS the one isn't it?

Yup, but if you have a PC World close to you they do it for £14.99 via "collect at store"

Oblivion is one of the best games I've played for some time.  The first few nights I played it I couldn't stop playing (I did when my wife came through at 3:30AM and smacked me on the head ).
