I don't know what the long term vision is for RG2 but I'd personally hope that it could offer a serious alternative to RG1 in the Burning Crusade. Especially given the official situation where RG2 members are not allowed to apply to RG1.

Also as a sideline I'm feeling increasingly alienated in guild as I really seem to be able to do very little to help out with anything guild related. I'm not thinking of quitting, well yet atleast - I'd just like to be able to contribute more.

That's our plan too, the Marshalls are planning and discussing all the time to work towards this end, raid schedule/frequency being one of the things they review regularly.

tbh i dont think shep will leave/stop raiding over this, as he made a lenghty discussion post on the forum. But i quess he would like to know for sure it wont happen again i suppose.

Why the hostility towards RG2 all of a sudden, TL?
 
We dont chase you down because you dont use priority on loot and people get p!ssed.

Chase me if you want, I'm happy to have the debate.  I'll even stand still so you can catch me.

I'm angry because this was avoidable - and it was something I warned was a problem.  You even posted a long discussion about it and seemed to reach a view that set priority was no longer the way forward - and then you acted on set priority again.  

So it's not hostility towards RG2 - it's frustration at a problem that could and should have been avoided if you KISS - use DKP.

Yesterday I got the impression that the new set of rules was not distributed to RG2 so the old loot rules were still active.
 
Regarding shep he did know the rules. We have used priority all the time. Its just when he gets stepped over his toes that he starts crying. AFAIK no one has complained over the priority rule. I actually got the impression that people thought it was quite fair.

The thread said do not distribute to RG2, just keep in with Marshalls.  If Marshalls are not clear on what is going on from your own written records, then what chance do the members have?

We should annouce that there are no more 7/8 priority - otherwise next time some other dude will scream about it...

There is a problem w/ going public on this kind of thing, and that is that ppl hold you to it. And that you are unable to change them, hence its private for marshals, just as fieldmarshals dont post there loot system outside the private parts of the forum.

Hmm I havent heard anything about this issue, but lets communicate the new rules to RG2 asap then, I belive the thread about this is finished, with the last corrections soonish, and its very KiSS
