Chaps,

The time has come for me to take a break.

I've put off making this decision many times recently but I'm now at the point where I've realised that I need to spend more time doing other things.

So with immediate effect I'm giving up my role within the clan happy in the knowledge that there's plenty of good people to take it on.

You have done an excellent job hopefully it will still be the same when you come back.

What can I say, Master Ob-wan? I hope you enjoy the break, you've earned it! :thumbsup: BTW, before you pop off to the garden shed with your pipe and slippers, to lie in your newly strung hammock, can I inherit two things from you:

1. All of your linux CS server knowledge please? Shouldn't take too long eh? :lol:
2. Q-power in the IRC room

I don't know what to do with it, but it sounds fun..... :lol:

I hope you won't ignore us completely........pop in every now and then just to say hello, OK? And when you're suitably recharged, please come back! Oh, and don't think your going to get out of the LAN that easily - we expect you to be there!

PS: your padawan learner is now enjoying previously unheralded levels of 'headless chicken' feelings 8O

We all need a break from time to time .......i can only wish you the best in the future and also say thanks for all the effort / time you have put into this this Clan ...

perhaps we could hire you from time to time as a PCS consultant :wink:

I'm back ... sort of.

Thought I'd better clarify my availability seeing as I've been back on the MH recently.

I had a three week break and boy did it do me good (if you ever get to the stage where CS is a chore rather than a pleasure then I suggest you need a break too).

However, I'm not yet in a position to help you guys run the clan as I'm busy in my other great love - cricket. 8O

I can no longer play due to injury but I decided some years ago to try and put something back into the sport so I became a qualified cricket coach. I'm running the Colts section of my local cricket club and for the next 12 weeks I'm committed to spending three evenings a week making sure that the kids get the attention they deserve. My job has been made all the harder with the recent sudden death of the Club's head coach who was also a close friend. Life's a bitch.

So. Thanks to all for the kind words above. I apologise for dropping out so suddenly but hope to be back in the swing by August.

TeaLeaf - You're a star/hero/topman/brick but don't burn yourself out :wink:

I agree you are doing a fantastic job mate ...Tealeaf if you need any help just ask im sure between myself,JAS and the other deputy leaders we can help out if you need us.
