That you can do with a feature called Viewport (I think), which comes as a part of CTMod (I think).
That should help you a bit - I think

I had really better do some work on my UI all I have running is CT!

I couldn't b bothered with my old monitor as I just needed the most space I could get, I have just received confirmation that my new monitor has been delivered! yay

It's a relatively plain vanilla install of Photek 6.6 (widescreen version, but they also do a normal 4:3 version) with a few extra mods added:

sRaidframes
Decursive
KLH Threatmeter
SWstats
Deadly Boss Mods

Photek takes about 2 minutes to install and tbh the main things I have moved are the addons listed above and I adjusted the raidframes size, style & position from the default at install.

With the Photek 6.6, is there a lot of configuring or does it come like that? tried an addon before where it took a lot of configuring.. I eventually came up with a result I thought well off (its somewhere in this thread) but there was a lot of errors and stuff I couldn't do properly, so I quickly went back to standard UI..

The configuring cosists of changing the names of 3 folders.  That's it.  The installation then works.  You can then if you want start to edit the basic Photek install, but that's down to you - mine has a few minor edits, but if you isntall Photek you'll basically get what you see in my screenshot.  Older versions needed a LOT of configuring, but for the last 6-9 months or so it has been this simple.

All I do is change my W T F folder to W T F_old and my Interface fodler to Interface_old.  Then install the new W T F, Fonts and INterface folder that come with the Photek instal zip file.  That way if I do nto like it I simply delete the Photek versions of the W T F & Inteface folders and remove the _old from the original ones.

I have a fair few mods installed but its not all that easy to position stuff without interfering my world view. It can get so cluttered that I miss something because the mod is positioned in a corner.

How does it work if I want to add some of my own preferred add-ons?

I guess add-ons like WIM and Outfitter that doesn't seem to interfere with any of the add-ons included in PhotekUI wouldn't bring much problems, but what with for instance ArkInventory (genius add-on btw, strongly reccomended), that I would like to override Photek's OneBag and OneBank?

Just disable the one you do not want and enable the one you do want!  It's exactly the same as you currently do.  The only time you'll break it is if you disable a core component of the style, but then if you like the style you'd not be doing that anyway as there is stil loads of style tweaking you can use once you have it installed.  Try it is all I can say, 2 mins to install and you're off to the races.
