want the pre-patch without having to enduring the background downloader?

Goto \World of Warcraft\Cache and you will find a torrent file there. Click it and use as a normal torrent and it will down the new 2.01 patch files at 100% speed.

(if your cache directory is not there then do the same with World of Warcraft\WDB and use the BackgroundDownload.torrrent you will find there)

Obviously I accept gratitude payments in gold and silver....

Just finished Dl'ing it at 300-400kbs using the torrent..
The background loader just never seemed to go anywhere..

edit: Erhm, ok lol at me.. What should I do with the .MPQ files? :g:

edit edit: ya ya.. think i figured it out.. Just copied the files to the "WoW-1.12.x-to-2.0.1-enGB-patch"-folder in the WoW dir.

Don't want to start the .torrent if the background downloader allready downloaded it all.

check the size of the file..
one should be 36.697kb
the other one 632.340kb

it refuses to work properly. still only got 4% clickying the file that u sugested doesnt do anything either!

mine was considerably slower than some of the other guys but i got up to 78% within a couple of hours. ill finish the dl sometime soon
