Motd missing

I'm not sure if it's currently under construction, but I thought I'd let you know the motd/rules screen is blank in game atm.

edit: Dr S seems to be aware of it, so I guess he's tweaking as I type

Yup same for me. I did a restart a few minutes ago and it still just show blank. The file is renamed to motd.txt before placed on the server I guess?
 
I set black as background in the textfile I made. Could that be a problem?

However, I don't have access to change the files on the server. I have sent an e-mail to BB about it.

I've gone back to the old MOTD until i have time to look at it.

Q: How do I edit my MOTD file?
A: To edit your motd.txt just follow the instructions below

1) Log into CS Admin
2) At the beginning screen of your control panel click on "Game Servers"
3) If you have multiple game servers, click on a server IP address.
4) Click on "Default Config Files"
5) Click on "/cstrike/motd.txt"
6) You can delete everything in this file and simply write what you want in a text format or if you know HTML you can write what you want your motd to look like in HTML.
7) Save the file and restart your server

This could be an alternate solution. In our case somthing like

This should just be added into the original motd.txt and of course we need to set up a motd.html at our web site.
 
If we use the above solution we can make changes to the MOTD without restarting the server for it to take effect, which could be nice.

This is what needs to be in motd.txt for it to work. Edit the link if you want it on the deadmen webserver and add the images and html document.

Nope. :sad: I am not trusted. I have e-mailed you the files you need. Just put them in the same folder.

Just create a folder under c:\inetpub\wwwroot called motd then use ...

I was smarter than that. I made a virtual directory under the avail website so we don't have to recode if we change IPs:
