Im new to this and i want to know how all this works!!!

Hi, i have only been play BF2 for about a week and one of my mates old me about you guys.
All i want to know is what is this all about and how do i get the most out of this, and really what it is all about?

Sorry if i seem like a noob, but i am.

you run around, you shoot and get shot. seems to work for me most times but I'm crap as a soldier.

Just dive in, listen to those around you and learn from them, in time it comes.

I've had quit a bit of time at BF2, currently I'm a Major in the game.
What do you want to get out of it?
A high rank? Good Games?

BF2 is just about capturing flags and kill the opponent. I like the game as you can drive tanks and such.
Best thing is to just start a game up yourself before going online.

We're in a bit of a BF2 Lull atm, although some individuals still play it.

best bet for a decent game would be RIP.

I play alot on RIP and OBC just search for their servers in game and you should be good to go
