I have spoken to TL today about it and we are just waiting for a date to be firmed up. We can't really influence that date to any great degree but we're fairly happy it will be soon. I wish I could be more specific but I can't.

Cheers OB. Good to know. However, the lag is a pain and we lose people constantly because of it. Do we have any transition alternatives?
 
-Rent a server for 1 (or more) month(s)
-Someone can set up a private server for the transition period
-We play on someone elses server without TCS

I saw that but it is the router on the internet side of the server that seems to be giving the problem and not the server itself. Additionally, we only have .NET 2 installed on our server.

I assume from the post in the main forum that this is happening at the weekend.  Can you give us any information on who the new provider is?

I believe that only the forums will move this weekend. No other info as yet - even I don't know the new hosting co.:)

This is the first step of the move, however the game servers will be as soon as I can arrange the trip with TL who has kindly agreed to assist with the move.

As for the provider, they've asked to remain anonymous for now but rest assured that they are in a far better position to offer what we need than the existing provider.
