I had a long and detailed discussion with Armitage today on the above topic. It was just after I accepted Oldies offer to be a SL and I obviously told Arm that I was now a SL. But in a nutshell, he was planning to leave dMw and I think the reason is lack of play with the type of Zombie squad that existed when the system was initially introduced.

I just thought I would mention this and that I think I talked him out of it mentioning mainly that there were few clans with the options dMw has i.e. numbers and depth of squad, also lastibility (is that a word), excellent server and good bunch of guys, and he agreed. So I am pretty sure he won't be leaving. But we did discuss a way to introduce a new 1st team type squad like before and the Jolt ladder came up, as well as how we tend to field a good team on UKCLS even thought it is not a Zombie or Ghost squad fielding. I did mention that just saying he wanted change was fine and well but coming up with viable suggestions was the only way to help the SLs out.

To that end I have posted the Jolt ladder suggestion on the Match Discussion forum where Arm posted his recent poll on the topic:

Any ideas? Should the clan change to accomodate one member? Or are there others who liked the 1st team principle?

(It was nice doing so well on CB and the squad gelling so well IMHO but would we do so well on Jolt?)

I know it's a can of worms we don't like to open especially when 95% of the team seem happy with our current system, but I think to lose one member is not a good average, any member.    :?
