sunny here so far
meats marinaded overnight
beers on cooldown in ice chest
wine on cooldown in ice chest
kebabs prepared and now in fridge
fish cut, skewered or marinaded
weather forecast for later looks good
guests en route

I'm sure he wont mind me telling you he, or rather Clare, have a 7lb 2oz boy who came complete with the name tag 'Taylor'. Terrific what they can do these days eh?

Glad you all had fun.

You'll be pleased to know that traipsing around IKEA for a few hours getting ever such exciting stuff like lampshades made me about ready to slit my wrists.

Aye it was a good one, despite the weather being only 'passable'.  Much fun was had and some fine conversation to put the world to rights.  We even managed to demolish an immense quantity of beer.  :cheers:
