Golf - Speed of Play

Golf club members who think that you are playing too slow so play up behind you, need to take note. Each ball that lands near me, I stand on. It's ****ing golf, relax, there is no hurry, take in the surroundings, enjoy being outside.

As for you that play so slowly it looks like you're moving backwards, let me through, stop playing Texas Scramble on Saturdays you **** taking shits. Golf is a sport, not a Sunday stroll, hurry up.

The rule in golf is that you may only play in a maximum group of 4. If slow play persists then the people who are causing slow play will have to let those behind through. Now i usually play on my own and it is rather annoying when people play very slowly and refuse to allow me to play through. On the other hand the reason people sometimes hit balls without realising people are there is because they move their trolley or bag from a prominent position on the fairway so that someone from the tee cannot see them. Therefore they moan when you catch them up when they are half in a bush looking for a ball. Just as a note if you loose a ball you only have 2 minutes to find it before it is has to be classed as lost. This is also to stop slow play play. Also players need to put bags etc around where there fellow players are and not move their bags forward as this makes it difficult for those at the tee to decide where the four ball is.

I didn't really need the rule lesson. What I need to clarify is that Canford Magna golf club in Bournemouth will let you play, even when you throw up outside their clubhouse before you tee off.

The reason that no-one lets a one-ball through is because they don't have to, and thus even a texas scramble 4 ball does not under the rules of golf have to let you play through. This used to annoy me a lot when I played, but I don;t any more, suurfing is much more fun...

I got banned once (about 8 months ago) for unproffessional conduct at the golf club dad goes to and i didnt even get out the alfa i was just asked to leave :roflmao:

yeah deffo.... worse thing was the golf bat things don't fit on the boot of the alfa very well so had to have them on back seat....

ever since then havent been back even though daddy's paying membership (last i heard this year is paid as well but not seen or heard from dad since xmas day (fight over family stuff))
