Aquilifer

Thank god nobody hit it. I would have lost my sleep.

Maybe it wanted to take a match who is the fastest.:)

Iron

Well not racing, but driving... I just got my first car, and driven my first few kms with it. I haven't driven since I got my license 2 years ago. I bought my brother's car, an old 2000ccm Opel Vectra. It's a bit big and powerful for my taste, but it was a good buy, so I went for it. :)

Doorman

Congratulations! :yahoo: Now comes the upkeep. TAX, INSURANCE, ROAD WORTHINESS TEST, REPAIRS, FUEL, DEPRECIATION, it goes on and on
Still, have fun and go nice places with it. :D

grats iron, may all your journeys be safe ;)

Iron

Thanks guys. Yer, I hope not to crash it. And yer Ron, it's a money eater, but I badly need it for my other hobby: carrying my rc model airplanes. :)

Why does that bring a snicker to my face...

Penfold

Quote from: Aquilifer;209029Caterhams are nice cars and quite fast too 'cause ther are so light. Looking at the duel vid, it seems they are as cranky in real life as LX4 in LFS.

They sure are.

I've been tempted to buy one several times (living in Caterham does mean they've brought to my attention a fair bit lol).

However, I've been put off by a friend's as it's a temperamental beast - and for my side, I quite like luxury items in my cars - such as heating, lol.

But you don't trade in the regular car I guess, so for regular driving you'd use that instead? And when the weather is nice, the temperature is right, and the road is good you take out the Caterham :)

Penfold

Indeed - something for the weekend sir? :)

When he goes fast he goes... just that! It just smacks in your head how well he knows his track otherwise he wouldn't... I hope

That is a fine example of why I'm not so fast in LFS. That is, to mind mind and reflexes, too damned fast!  Brilliant though, hat's off to him (and to those that can drive that quickly)

Jamin

That's me coming home from work on a friday afternoon :D
