Pyro 4 the win

TF2 is a masterpiece. Why? The Pyro guy. All through Counter strike I had to accept my lack of effectiveness was down to me being crap. Everyone has the same character and can use the same guns. So the best man wins and I get shot. But not any more. In TF2 I can play the Pyro Guy and die with my head held high. It's not me being crap, it's the Pyro Guy being a complete bugger to play. No range at all. I only kill people if I am standing right in front of them and get to shoot them in the face with a gallon of petrol.

Now people can say
"Hey smilodons got shot again."
"Yeah but he does play Pyro Guy"
"True."

Sorry to burst your bubble but the pyro has a shotgun for medium/long range. The scout would be a better choice due to the reduced health and scatter gun. As the scout you could just claim you were going for the bat kill (which takes a while on the heavy but totally worth it).

When the game first came out i found close comabt with the flamethrower wasn't what i expected as it didn't seem to work. Valve update the pyro recently with better range aswell as better accuracy so it should be more effective
