Tf2 didnt like the latest update so I have backed up our configs and am reinstalling the server from scratch. normal service will be resumed as soon as Valve/Steam sort their act out (hopefully tonight)

Sorry no. Every time I try to download a TF install it fails to bring down srcds.exe (the file that is needed to start the server) and copying srcds.exe from another server install doesn't work for some strange reason.

I have even tried it on my own server and it still failed to bring down the correct file.

i have a plan to address it. I'm going to setup the TF as an HL2MP server and then download the TF addon to see if that works. Will take a couple of days until I have time to do this but I'm hoping it will fix the problem (wish me luck) :)

Would this trouble a game of TF2 on the LAN?

No the LAN server for TF2 is configured and working.

yay :woot2: my plan worked.

have a TF2 server peeps :)

PS although I'm sure the fact Valve released a new version of hldsupdate last night (which actually works) had nothing to do with my success :sideways:

BIG-guys have a server now aswell;
b*stardsingame.co.uk - * = a and it has a space in front of the 'B' to get it higher up the list
