Server Action

Any chance of more server action? Do we have a "Meathook" type night on a Wednesday? i'd like to play on our server with a decent amount of players.

:withstupid: The game is good with about 6+ on each team. If we made the server public we could attract more players to play with us. But i suppose it would be hard to admin. Although of most of the other servers I have played on everyone goes for the objective and use a fair bit of teamwork like having medics+heavies or a pyro hangs around a group of sentry guns to protect them from spies sapping them. On rare occasions I see people rushing off as the defending team when they are on the last capture point to defend. Anyway, I would like to play with dMw :boxing:

I know it has been talked about before, but i'm just saying that i've seen some tactics in other servers. Yes, there are some fragfests sometimes, but thats just the same as on counter strike. If it's not happening, fine but I and others I think would like to play team fortress2 with dMw.

You won't see "fragfests" on the dMw Counter Strike servers and I believe it should be the same on the TF2 server. The problem is that due to the pace of the game and the fact you respawn when you die, it would be really hard to admin a public TF2 server properly unless the admins didn't play.
Lets try and get a good turnout of dMw members on a Wednesday night (8PM UK?) and see how things go.

Might join tonight but after 21.00 UKtime and if I've solved my computerproblems (BSOD).
Wednesday-evenings still seems to be the best day for this game as the last couple of times there was a decent amount of players. I also think that because we've played it at the LAN we have a few more players who know the game. Also still a few people need to learn the how and what (I still don't know alot about the game but did give several tips at the LAN).

I prefer to keep it only to -=[dMw]=-'ers (and regulars offcourse).
Otherwise a check over BiG might be worth if they have a server up and running.

If we gave a couple of responsible people within dmw the status of TF2 admin with a similar role to the CS and BF2 admins a public server could be possible. I look forward to a game tonight but its hard to start a game when its a private server. At least with boomer the joe public can role in and fill the server up
