Flights can also be booked allready at a very cheap price at the moment.
Do a bit of Googling and you'll find out. Remember, Amsterdam, the airport is Schiphol.
 
Me and Ninja will be looking now for some hotels as this seems to be the best option (as TL would agree).

I'm looking at £75quid return including taxes to fly locally (soton). Flybe.com is cheap cheap..
 
If you're at all serious about attending book your flights this w/e to get the cheapest deals.

Easyjet tickets from Luton to Amersterdam only available up until end of March at the moment.

Flybe tickets from Southampton available atm.  Trouble is I don't want to drive back from Southampton after the weekend, so I'll have to wait for the Easyjet ones.

But British Airways Business Class from Heathrow does look damn tempting!

I have had a look at lastminute.com, expedia, easyjet, ryanair and even airmiles but can't find anything to beat ninja's price. I would like to fly from Bournemouth but there isn't a carrier who does such a flight. I think i'll go along with ninja's plans tbh . I wish i could travel business class :dribble:.

Ghosty, you can fly from Gatwick on BA for £70 inc all taxes. Isn't that closer to you where you live?

I know.. if we wanted to fly back earlier (1 opposed to 5) the flight would be 1.90 each way.. That's like 55 quid... What time are people travelling back? It might make logical sense to fly then and save the 20quid..

lo, thought I'ld pop in and let you know I'm considering. still pending SWMBO's approval and frequent flyer miles on KLM (no cheap flights from Israel...), but keeping my fingers crossed.
