My mom just can't get around the webmail we have, nor Outlook+Express version. I have no experience in no-brainer e-mail programs... any recommendations?

Edit: I reckon that can be done with freeware apps. All she needs is the basic stuff like new mail, reply to mail, forward mail. I will do all setup, so complex setup no problem.

Edit2: The mail is POP3 type.

worth a look?

ah nm, just noticed you said pop3, it doesn't really work well with that from my limilted understanding (and it being web based)

have you tried thunderbird, my mum seems ok with that.

T-Bag

I was going to suggest Thunderbird too. Seems easy enough to get to grips with.

I will try TB... maybe some layout changes can aid her as well. Cheers!

Liberator

Well, I've always used "The Bat", nice and simple, has a scrolling banner when new emails are received. Doesn't suffer from the attacks that MS does.

Lots of high powered features if you want them, but nice and basic if you don't

Definately worth a look, but not free.
