Hmmmm....what a waste of money...imho :sideways:
If you are loaded put your money in something more useful like a huge screen.

Besides you can put 4 ati cards in crossfire configuration (like MSI K9A2 Platinum mobo)...with equally poor investment of money.

Correct. I found this on the internet a couple of weeks ago. The main pcie slots will run in sli with a bridge of some sort to the slot used for a ageia physyx board. The 680 chipset should support it but fingers crossed.

well ageia is pci, theres 2x pci and 3x pcie 16 slots, so you can have 3x sli and still have a ppu + scard, theres also some sort of very small slot, seems its a pcie aswell, the new xfi pcie should fit in them

Ageia cards will be released soon with PCI-e x1 and x16 interface.
And the small slots are PCI-e x1 ports, which within the next years will be replacing PCI slots we know

Im pretty sure this has been done before like way back when SLi was in its infancy with the quad setup, if memory serves me well (and usually doesnt the wife can attest to that one) it was called the gigabyte royale quad sli as tomshardware had something like 32 screens plugged in to the rig at one point

Yeah Gigabyty made a quad sli mobo a while back, but the downside on the board was taht the Chipset didnt have that many PCI-e lanes at all, so to achive it they added another Chip on the mobo, so hand the extra lanes, and even by doing so, the board on ran x8 on each slot, and having a really crappy transfer between the two chipset also gave a huge impact on performance

and the fact that there were no drivers made to support it officially from nVIDIA, only some weird ones supplied from Gigabyte.

The board was most likely meant as a PR stunt, rather then actually gaming board, cant recall hearing anyone actually buying the board at all on any forums
