It's sort of the thinking persons iPhone and therefore not completely gutless i.e. it has 3G, sat nav, a proper camera, you can get it on a contract and it's not sim locked (I think) etc etc

On the downside it's a Windows Mobile phone and so will lock up all the time and takes about three days to start up

Nice mini review here http://coolsmartphone.com/article747.html

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

I have the touch, which is very good but a bit fidderly. I end up using the stylus all the time. but apart from that 5 stars.

I had the XDA and XDA2 and the mini's for years, there great phones but i ended up smashing my last one as it "grey screened" (not blue but grey) when i received an important text and couldnt read it, vowed never to go back to one again at least one laptop is either in arms reach or in the boot of the car and so dont need one...

although i have been thinking about going at getting another one but i am swayed more towards the e90 communicator (very nice) or the n95 8Gig..

if you get one i have over 4 gigs of programs for it
Are you going to come quietly, or do I have to use earplugs?

It's the sequel to my phone, looks like they've upped the camera to 3MP and put windows mobile 6 and some fancy software with it too. I love my phone so I would imagine that this one is going to be good and the interface looks like it gets rid of my biggest problem, texting while walking. With a touch screen and tiny buttons it's a pain. Looks like they've fixed that without having to install any seperate programs (Although another plus of Windows mobile is if you have something you don't like you just install an app that does it right).

Ghoule do you have a list of some of the best programs you have for it? I downloaded a pack, but then didn't know what each of them did/if they were any good so barely installed any

Edit: It also has WiFi something mine is sadly missing.

Interesting thread this as my friend has the htc touch on orange. I was looking at getting it for my next phone as it has wifi etc aslong as they can give me my discounted price :) on o2 (400 minutes 500 texts £10 a month :P).
