Today, in the UK, is National Veteran's Day. This is the Government's attempt to tell us all how much military veterans are owed by their country.

So, could the government please send the £2 to my home address and I'll split it with Freestyler :sideways:

I saw an interview with one of the 'few' who was, quite rightly IMHO, bemoaning the fact that people in the UK thought more of him than the present day members of our armed forces.

Well to celebrate National Veterans Day I got in touch with the Veterans Agency (VA) to try to find out what is happening with my Pension Appeal (since I've heard nothing from them since December last year). The lady was very helpful but didn't have enough info to go on so asked if she could look into things and ring me back.

When she rung back she was very apologetic and said that my appeal is on hold because the Policy makers within the VA haven't come up with a policy yet to cover Gulf War Syndrome :blink:

Seventeen years its been and these t***ers still don't have a policy!!!!!!!!!

Ive emailed my MP - Ive had enough of them especailly as I know that at least 1600 people have been given pensions for Gulf War Syndrome. Grrr I'm fuming!
