Rather than put this one to bed can we not explore the possibilities of the using all guns element?

I of course am fully behind the dMw stance of teamplay is where its at.  But...

There had to be a but eh?

...but it would be a good variance to play something like GG for the reasons stated previously.  If it's not possible then fine, lets drop the subject now.

There is.  Changing the order of guns is as simple as editing a config file.

I'm against it. GG is a single-player win. While team play comes into it, it's only a minor part of the game.

True, I would not recommend it for a dMw server in its normal form either, but the idea being discussed was how it could be made more team friendly.  I can see no reason why it couldn't be adapted for teamplay.

I guess it's up to Whitey and others to decide though.  It looks like we have discussed the possibilities of how it could be customised to Team play.  Now it's a question of whether dMw top bods want to pursue this avenue

By the time you have changed gungame to make it a teamwork game, well, its not going to resemble gungame. Maybe the discussion should really be along the lines of, "what can we do in a mod that helps support TCS/dMw Ethos".

TCS mod is going good  We tested it last week and I think the general opinion was that it is essentially useable in its present form.  The main thing I'm going to do (tomorrow hopefully) is make a menu to make it easier to set up boundaries so that we can quickly get all the maps sorted out.

Haven't had as much time to work on it in the last week as I've started a new job, but the main part of it is already done at least.

Aww, come on Blunt, DA's English isn't the worst here on the forums.
I sometimes wonder if you English people still give proper English on schools and such.

@ N00b, GL with the new job. No pressure on it but I followed the other thread a bit and this might be the best thing for our Public server.

I do believe that Blunt's English was deliberately wrong there
