The next step is for the guys who will be configuring the forum (Smilodon and Penfold) to meet up (date already agreed) with our VBulletin guru (Gandalf) to ensure that they know how to make the changes necessary to automate as much of the administration of the new stucture as possible.

Sounds cool. Just curious on what is going on except for the badges-. As you wrote in the first post that you would be needing our input. :thumb:

Gandalf, Penfold and Smilodon had a very productive day and, despite a few problems along the way, have put the basic building blocks in place for the new structure (the detectives and the just plain nosey will stumble across them easily enough :) ).

We're not ready to go live yet but we are still on target for a release in the first week of January 2009.

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.
