Was thinking of bringing a donation of fireworks for the Saturday night.  What do you think?  Other than burning a few houses down......

would be quite cool but what does the hotel say? is it safe in the area?

Thanks for the feedback, on balance of probability - yes it's probably safer not to.  Idea parked.
