Strong, peaty, smokey - really well balanced. An excellent recommendation OB :)

Glad you like it, Tut.

Mine turned up Saturday. It shall be available to try at the LAN if anyone fancies it.

Huh! I thought Whisky goes off once bought and needs to be drunk within one week, maybe two at a push.!!

Mmmm I like the Leapfrog 1/4 cask. Another recommendation if you like it is Caol Ila. Currently working our way through a litre bottle of that.

Finished an Auchentoshan last week, which was nice.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

I'd definitely second the Caol Ila recommendation, it's one of my favorites, though I find it a much (er...drier?) proposition that Laphroaig. Ardbeg is another excellent peaty option :D

I have a heavy head this morning.  The stuff is too good.

Wow these lan events are sounding even better. Think I'm going to have to try the Talisker. If you like peaty snooks I'd recommend Lagavulin 16yo, my favourite and very distinctive

Yup I am partial to a Laggy too. In fact I am not choosy any Islay will do!!
It all depends on what I'm eating with it on which I prefer but I find chocolate goes with them all.
