I've got this motherboard.  Very stable and well featured, but if you want to use it at the heart of an overclocked rig there's better performers out there (the Abit & Epox offerings for instance).

The version 2.0 cards officially support 400MHz FSB, whilst the older 1.0x cards don't (you can tell what version you have by looking at the silkscreen print between the fourth and fifth PCI slots).  Older cards can be a bit finnicky if you try and put cheap RAM in them.

I've had mine for about five months now.  Installation and configuration was easy, and so far I've been very pleased with it.  If you get any problems with it, post them and I might be able to help out.

:stupid: that's the second time I've done this now, that was me by the way.

It must be the heat...

Tonight I will try and upgrade my computer. I got the Asus A7V8X 2.0 Deluxe mobo, XP2500+ Barton, 2x512 MB TwinMos PC3200 and an Artic Cooling Copper CPU fan. Wish me luck.  :P

Any day my Shuttle will arrive and then I have to get going on that one too.   :multi:

Got a tip from a friend of mine that you could reset the BIOS by moving the jumper and that could make it work. Not uncommon problem he said. I did that and now the mobo work! Going to config and update tonight an hopefully I will be avail for tonights game.

Cheers,
