Fancy a game tonight?
I'm not going out so I'll be stuck in. :sad:
If there are four or less do you fancy giving one of the other campaigns a go?
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

DuVeL rolled back his drivers from the latest and got rid of the lag, might be worth a try if it's nVidia.

My temporary card runs L4D fine but struggles slightly on COD4, although I could probably get it working better if I switched a few things off.

Remember - the other solution is to put the game in borderless windowed mode. Worked great for me with no need to rollback drivers.

They are the older drivers so try running it fullscreen.

Aye loads of problems with that, sort of lagging in game...
Although it stopped "lagging" I now miss my GPUfolding.
Might try that Windowmode Oldy is about this weekend.

My PC is one of the oldest here running a GeForce 6800 so if I can run without lag I'm sure you can?

I write down everything I want to remember. That way, instead of spending a lot of time trying to remember what it is I wrote down, I spend the time looking for the paper I wrote it down on.

If nvidia then that equates to 175.16. The latest are 180.48 IIRC
