Quote from: The Moose;261200No need to be, I've never known any different and it hasn't affected any part of my life at all.

It would stop me being a pilot i believe, but as that's not on the cards anyway it's not a problem :)
So which is the best side to overtake you then? :norty: A purely rhetorical question of course as I'm not likely to be in that position.

This Wednesday, 4th February the track will be:

At the moment there's a 50/50 chance that I'll not be home on Wednesday. I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

What a week this will be.. nKP race on Wed (hopefully), LFS on Thursday (for the first time in ages I'll actually be home on Thursday! Don't want to miss this one) and iRacing of course. I better get some uni stuff done today to reduce the pile of paper on my desk!

look forward to this circuit, :yahoo:

Has your machine got a good head of steam? :g: If not, throw some more logs on the fire. :)
Well done for finding your way here. Welcome. :)
Good racing tonight.

Firstly, thx for hosting Ron.

This was the first long distance Full Mode race I'd attempted in nK! I was looking forward to it. It ending up being part bad news and part good news.

There was a good and fairly busy grid, with Moose in P1 :worship: followed by me and Deetz on nearly identical times. The start was clean (as far as I know at the front) and for the first 3/4 of a lap I had a good view of a Moose's arse end
Something must have been going on behind us because from the Casino on I couldnt see anyone behind us :g: Then I had a big slide at the wall of Champs and lost a couple of seconds but on arriving at T2 for the second time I had a huge surprise when I saw the Moose apparently beached in the sandtrap  That made me P1 on lap 2 with no-one in the mirrors :D All I had to do was keep it on the black stuff and I'd be in with a chance :g: So predictably I went into turn 9+10 too hard and clipped the bollards breaking the suspension  Limping back to the pits I caused more damage and required 20 minutes of repair time, effectively game over :crying:

I did wait for repairs whilst watching others in TV mode and rejoined 10 laps down on the leaders. But on the upside whilst cruising round without any pressure I managed a PB :)

I'm gutted that I threw a good position because I'd have liked to see how I held up for the full duration and how much pressure there would be from other drivers, ie. Deetz who ended up on the top step, well done :thumbsup2:

Looking forward to the next race now (Spa I think) to see how many lessons I've learnt  :g:

Actually it's thanks for hosting 'Dead Men Walking'. Credit where it's due. :D I only organised it. I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused about names, you must be Katsushika_Matsumoto. I've just watched some of the replay. You and Lee Spalding had a good battle. Very entertaining. :D

The results:
1st D Deetz
2nd R. Johnson
3rd  R Attwood
4th S Sherry
5th K Matsumoto.
6th L Spalding

Well done everyone.

Great stuff. This is going to get even better. I feel it in my water. :)

well what can i say, i had a good quali with a late 1.57 which put me 4th on the grid:D, my start was superb grabbing third spot into the first bend, i managed then later on in the lap (final bend) to get totally out of shape and smashed into the wall:doh:, 10mins in pits for a full repair then i was off again, once the heat was back into the tyres began to push and caught up  K Matsumoto which we had a great tussle.

congrats to 1, deetzs,  2, R. Johnson, 3,R Attwood
