Nope.  I've only been here a few months and I'm a no life, unsociable git that rarely leaves the house :roflmao:

Still, i could probably manage a 7 min walk to meet you halfway for a pint and some sim racing gossip one day. :lmfao:

After living in the middle of nowhere for years that's exactly how i feel about it actually.

All i have to do is put on Ventrillo and there's loads of like minded people to talk to. Why bother going out?

My mum told me to be careful when meeting online people! you'll probably turn out to be a beautiful, man eating Seductress!!

In all seriousness though- I'd be happy to meet up for a pint sometime.

I'll be the one wearing the red carnation :D

No, I'm neither beautiful or (god forbid) man eating.  Your perfectly safe.:D

Though if your wearing a red carnation i might just leave as I'm not sure I'd be safe.:narnar:    I've heard about you city folk and your strange ways :lmfao:

sorry, DNF, tbh it was a bit boring , maybe too long race for just 6-7 drivers on track, or maybe the track was too long, i dunno... During the race, I had more and more lags :sideways: was slower and slower, and finally I've spun  no way to avoid it as it was nearly unplayable (probably memory...). Next time I'll restart my PC before racing :S I shouldn't have this kind of problem but I had to test with 1.03 in race.

However, cya and thanks for the training and race guys :byebye: !

Yup, pity about the small grid tonight as everything ran perfectly this time.

After a small mistake early on i was around 4 secs off Mickael but managed to keep the gap fairly steady until i lost a bit lapping some backmarkers.
Was surprised to see Mickael facing the wrong way as i came down the start/finish straight.  Just kept it steady for the rest of the race (apart from one spin when i looked up at some chat )and brought it home for the win.

Hard work keeping the concentration for the hour, but that's what i love about long races :)  After taking part in a 24hr LFS race at the weekend this wasn't so bad :D

I don't recognise the name. :g:
Anyway, shame about the thin field. Maybe people tried it offline and found it too difficult. :flirty: For my part, a good race. Nice bit of dicing with Pete Franklin, he'd pass me, fall off, I passed him, fell off. Until I ruined it all by falling off once to often. :) Went into the sand at the end of the bridge and spent a good minute digging my way out :taz: It is true that long races can be boring, but isn't that part of the challenge? Keeping your concentration going for that amount of time?

Didn't know you were in the MOE race! GT2 or GT1?

This was my first proper race in nKP apart from the practice sessions, and I was determined to be a little cautious. The race went pretty well, although there wasn't much close racing due to the low number of participants. Stu and Mickael disappeared in the distance pretty early, and there was nothing I could do to keep up with them. (as expected) A bit disappointing to see people disconnect so soon, but at the same time I can kind of understand it.. you have to be pretty dedicated to bother limping back to pits and wait for 20 minutes for the repairs to finish!

spudgun55

had a good qauli low 1.33s not bad for half hours practice:thumbsupsmileyanim:

race went well until i went off the track  hit a small hump on the grass (at low speed) which made the car take off like a rocket, a few loop the loops then landed upside down end of my race:thumbsdown:, found the track a bit bland to be honest but at least i gave it a go, look forward to the next track.

small note to mention: whilst in the practice session i lost connection, then tried to rejoin but the server had disappeared from the server list, i tried a number of times like refresh and also restarted the game but still no luck, had to reboot pc in the end?.:g:

Nahh, wasn't the MoE race, it was another one (DoP i think) at Aston GT.  Interesting as there were 4 car classes on track at the same time, never a dull moment :)

Best thing to do if you cant see the server is get the IP and port numbers from here http://www.wagenvoort.net/rank/servers.php and add it manually.

Was good fun at the start with some interesting dices with Doorman.  Unfortunately I had a bit of an overheating problem (at home) with the radiator on full next to my seat (forgot to turn it off) I would say that contributed to what proceeded to be the most inconsistent drive I have ever done!!  Still I made it to the end which is the most important thing I guess.

Just a note.  I have a hunch that more people will come if the track is of the real life variety.  Nothing wrong with the track last night but as a fantasy track that isn’t part of the NetKar package, less people will be familiar with or have the desire to race on it..?

Just to let you guys know- I’m not around for the race next week due to work commitments.

Itchy

Sorry I wasn't around for last nights race. I'd been doing a bit of practice, and was all ready to come and show you all how it's done :roflmao: when visitors arrived! :crying: Oh well. I'm really beginning to enjoy this track, challenging to learn, but very satisfying when you improve.

Still no internet at home. Luckily it works well at work for forums browsing :D
